Why I Started Snapletic
Because athletes deserve more than a lineup and a border.
Honestly? I was fed up. Year after year, I watched the same photographer show up, line the team up, snap a straight-on headshot with a fake background, hand out a team photo with some outdated border around it, and call it done. I had those photos as a kid. My boys have them now. The bar hasn't moved. And I couldn't accept that anymore!
Lets Move The Bar. Changing How Athletes See Themselves, One Photo at a Time.
I've always loved photography and sports, and I know firsthand what it feels like to doubt yourself as an athlete. That doubt is real and it's heavy. My son Benjamin carries it too. He's an amazing player, but no matter how many times I told him that, the words just wouldn't stick. So I put a camera on him in action and showed him instead. For the first time he could see what everyone else already knew, and his confidence grew in a way no pep talk ever could.
That was the moment Snapletic was born. To give every young athlete the chance to see themselves the way the people who love them already do.
